Beastly Video Clip


This is the movie Beastly I was talking about in class. This film is a twist off of Beauty and The Beast. It is a very modernized form of the popularly known Disney film. The main character, Kyle was an attractive rich young boy but had little respect for anyone. A curse was put on him and this is when he becomes beastly looking. In order for his looks and life to return to normal he must find someone who is willing to love him fully despite his looks. This looks like it will be a good movie!

    Wow. That does look pretty good. This is the first time I've seen a trailer for it.

    This just reminded of the movie Shallow Hal, where the main character only dates skinny, good looking women, and one day he is cursed, or something to that effect, and he falls for this extremely large woman, who in his eyes looks skinny and beautiful. in the end he learns beauty is only skin deep.

    I also find it interesting what Dr. Bogad told us in class about the message Beauty and the Beast sends out to children, how if you love a man enough even a beats can change. Quite interesting to see it that way.

    I am pretty impressed. i not in to romantic movies, but this one has a different plot to it and its not your typical love story.
